Phone line's still out for the count. Not a clue why though. Probably the rats did a little snacking on the lines.
Exams are exactly a week away and the way every lecturer speaks about the exam makes it sound as though everything will be a breeze as long as you study for the whole of next week. I don't disagree with that but one thing they forget is that I've got four other units to crunch for. If I've got a week to study for each, then I wouldn't be so farked. But I don't. That's why I'm feeling so bummed these days.
Exam preps aside, I finally got the two CD collection I've been hunting for so very long. Beyond, 25th Anniversary Collection. They've got every great song Beyond made in two CDs. How great is that? Don't know who or what I'm talking about? I wouldn't be surprised really. Especially all you ah beng kias who only listen to cute Asian poultry who can't sing to save their lives. Or all you ah lians who fall heels over head over those Asian male clams who has so much hair that they should donate to Yun Nam and still can't sing. Yep. All of you.
For the benefit of the unacquainted, Beyond is a Cantonese rock band consisting of four members of which one has already passed away, founded in 1983. Most of their songs mainly revolve around life in Hong Kong. While being a very much Hong Kong oriented rock band, a few of their songs also had underlying messages like Glorious Age (光輝歲月) which tells about racism and Nelson Mandela's struggle in South Africa.
No prizes for guessing why those ah lians haven't got a thing for them and those ah beng kias don't know them
